Modern Art is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new work by Lothar Hempel.
This is Hempel’s fourth solo show with Modern Art.

Lothar Hempel lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1966, and studied at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Dusseldorf, 1987 – 1992.

Lothar Hempel has exhibited in galleries and institutions for two decades. His work has been the subject of solo shows at La Conservera, Ceuti, Spain (2012); Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin, Ireland (2008); Le Magasin, Centre National d’Art Contemporain, Grenoble, France (2007); Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, TX, USA (2002); Institute of Contemporary Arts, London (2002); Bureau Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands (1998).
