Modern Art

Modern Art is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new work by Anna-Bella Papp. This is Papp’s second solo show with Modern Art.

The exhibition comprises a number of individual sculptures. Characteristic of Anna-Bella Papp’s work, these are tablet-like forms of comparable scale, hand-sculpted from unfired clay. They are exhibited flat on a table-like surface, with no specific orientation for viewing.

Anna-Bella Papp was born in Chișineu-Criș, Romania, in 1988. She lives and works in Rome, Italy. She studied at the University of Art and Design, Cluj, Romania (2007−2010), and de Ateliers, Amsterdam, Netherlands (2011−2013).

Anna-Bella Papp presented her first solo museum exhibition at the Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas, TX, USA, in 2014.
